Cindy is the type of woman we all want to befriend, she is funny, kind, and compassionate. She is the kind of person that gets things done with a smile on her face.

A graduate of Fallbrook High, Cindy has been working at Boys & Girls Clubs of North County for 15 years! She started as a Youth Development Professional, was a Site Supervisor for many years and is now our Area Director.

Cindy is a strong leader and a great trainer of new staff. She is known for being organized and dependable. “Cindy knows how to run a perfect ASES (After School Education & Safety) Program,” said Lisa Ware, Director of Operations, “She makes work fun.”

Cindy shared she loves seeing Club kids grow up and become successes. In fact, one of our Site Supervisors, Perla Ordonez, is a former Club kid Cindy supervised. Cindy watched Perla grow up, and later return to work for Boys & Girls Clubs of North County.

Cindy has two daughters, Eileen and Catalina, who are 8 and 9 years old. As a family, they love to go to the beach, play hide and seek, and paint. Cindy and the girls also love to cook together, and Cindy enjoys finding new and different restaurants and believes in tasting new foods at least once.

You would not know it meeting her, because she is rather shy, but Cindy loves outdoor adventures! She loves riding jet skis and ATV’s and jokes that she has a “need for speed.” She has plans to go ziplining in the future and she hopes to use a gift certificate she received for skydiving, but her little girls are not fans of her jumping out of an airplane.
