As the season of gratitude unfolds, the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County is thrilled to announce its beloved annual tradition of hosting Thanksgiving Feasts across all eight sites, bringing joy and warmth to youth and their families. This year, with the generous support of Major Market, who donated a substantial one-third of the meals, Club families enjoyed an even more special celebration.
“Every year we look forward to our Thanksgiving Feasts,” said CEO Allison Barclay. “The kids really enjoy it, and our Board Members have a great time serving the dinner. It’s a fantastic day for all!” This heartfelt event provides a delicious meal, fosters community spirit, and strengthens relationships among families and Club members.
Thanksgiving serves as a poignant reminder of reflection and appreciation, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County has much to be thankful for this year. Thanks to the dedicated support of the Fallbrook community, local foundations, businesses, and schools, the Club continues to thrive in its mission to support the youth of North County. As a nonprofit organization, every donation received directly enhances the services provided to our members.
Boys & Girls Clubs of North County is more than just a safe space; it’s a nurturing environment that embodies a second home for Club members. Year-round, they engage in a variety of enriching programs, including daily homework assistance, healthy snack options, art and music classes, as well as health and STEM initiatives designed to inspire and educate, and sports (swim teams and swimming lessons, basketball and indoor soccer).
