Allison Barclay, Chief Executive Officer

Allison Barclay is the Chief Executive Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of North County, where she oversees one Club site and seven ASES school sites. These programs are supported by over 50 dedicated and enthusiastic Club professionals. Allison has over 25 years of experience with Boys & Girls Clubs and most recently was the Vice President for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake, where she worked for over 18 years.

Allison earned her degree in Recreation Management Administration, with a minor in Communications from Brigham Young University. While on summer and holiday breaks from college, she worked at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Escondido, where she developed a passion for the mission of the Clubs.

Lisa Ware, ASES Director/Director of Operations

Lisa Ware, Director of Operations, has been with the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County for over 10 years. Lisa started her career with the Club as the site supervisor for the Potter Jr. High program. In 2005 Lisa was promoted to ASES Director and developed the current ASES after school programs that are held at Live Oak Elementary, Fallbrook Street School, William H. Frazier and Potter Jr. High. She has been Director of Operations since 2006.

Lisa’s motto for her career with the Club has always been “lots of kids, lots of staff, and lots of laughs.” To her there is no better sound than a clubhouse filled with members and staff having fun.

Maureen Sullivan, Director of Development

Maureen Sullivan, Director of Development, recently joined Boys & Girls Clubs of North County. Maureen has over 15 years’ experience of working for nonprofits in fund development, communications and special events. Maureen graduated from UC Santa Barbara and earned a master’s in business administration. She recently moved to Fallbrook with her dog Pickles and looks forward to creating many community partnerships to help support our Club members.

Gabriel Gonzalez, Director of Transportation and Facilities

Gabriel Gonzalez, Director of Transportation and Facilities, has been with the Boys & Girls Club for over 21 years. Gabriel enjoys making an impact on Club members lives by introducing them to programs that practice healthy life styles, academic success, good character and citizenship.

Gabriel attended The Art Institute of Laguna Beach, California, and has received numerous trainings from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Gabriel has also been certified by the American Coaching Academy, and enjoys every opportunity he gets to coach and referee in one of the Club’s numerous sports programs. When Gabriel isn’t working at the Club, he enjoys participating in a variety of hobbies that include art, mix martial arts, physical training, collecting comic book & action figures, creating haunted houses, gardening, and cooking. Gabriel has served as a sergeant in the Army Reserves for eight years and has one tour of duty in Iraq. When asked, Gabriel will tell you that his greatest achievement was when he married his wife Dawn.
